The Association GMV has five sections, oriented towards the five main groups of end users of the products made by the members. Members can decide to participate in more than one section. However, quite often their products and expertise are also used in other fields than the ones which are covered by the sections of which they are a member. President of the association is Mr J. (Jan) Hak. Animal Feed The manufacturers and suppliers of installations and machinery for the compound industry also constitute a section of the GMV. However, the scope of the section is wider than the name suggests: Members also supply machinery for grain handling and processing, pet and fish food industry etc. The president of the section Animal Feed is Mr P. (Paul) den Ouden.

Dairy and Liquid Foods Membership of this GMV section includes suppliers of machines, equipment and complete production systems for the dairy and fruit juice industry: they operate on the entire market of dairy and juice products and drinks. The installations supplied serve to convert milk and fruit juices into a wide variety of end products. Systems for packaging, upgrading, storage, cooling, order selection and distribution are also among the group's activities. The President of the section Dairy and Liquid Foods is Mr A.S. (Mac) Wirodihardjo.

Packaging Members of this section produce a wide range of packaging machines and lines. They produce a wide variety of packaging machines, both for food and non-food applications. On behalf of this section the GMV is a member of Europama (the European Packaging Machinery Association) and COPAMA (the (world) Confederation of Packaging Machinery Associations). The President of the section Packaging is Mr M. (Martin) Dannenberg.

General Foods Members of this section produce machines and installations for the treatment and processing of meat (poultry and red meat), fish, vegetables, potatoes, fruit and cocao. In several specialities GMV members are world market leaders. The President of the Section General Foods is Mr J.W. (Wim) Beeftink.
To see the list of members please click here. Bakery Equipment In 1999 the VFB (Association for Bakery Technology) was integrated in GMV and became the fifth section. It consists of a group of equipment manufacturers, involved in both the traditional and industrial bakery sectors, for bread and pastry. The GMV represents this section in the executive committee of the BTF (Stichting Bakkerij Toeleveranciers Federatie). Four sector associations of suppliers to the bakery sector founded this body to organise the annual trade fairs (‘Bakkerijdagen’ and ‘Bakkerijbeurs)‘ for the bakery sector. This body developed also several initiatives to promote entrepreneurship and a healthy bakery sector. The President of the section Bakery Equipment is Mr W.M.M. (Wim) Schonk.

Membership of this GMV section includes manufacturers of machines and equipment for sorting, handling and packing products immediately after harvest, both on the field and in green houses and systems for conditioned storage of potatoes, vegetables, fruit, meat and fish.
