Training / SVML

SVML is an organisation founded to professionalise the diffusion of specific know how on engineering and design of machinery for the food processing industry and allied sectors. It has been active since 1995. The initiative was taken by the GMV, the sector association of manufacturers of equipment for food processing and packaging in The Netherlands. SVML is particularly successful in courses on hygienic design.

An extra added value is given to the courses by the fact that participants have backgrounds on a 50/50 basis in both the food machinery-manufacturing sector and in the food processing industry. This is also reflected in the backgrounds of the board members. Members of the board are: Jan Hak, President (president of the GMV) Huub Lelieveld, (Senior Technologist Microbiology & Preservation Unilever Research and former president of EHEDG) Three days courses at intermediate level have been given by SVML in Dutch and English.
